
Living at these times is hard. Some can only afford
cozy houses, small studio-type condominium units or snug apartments. To make the most of the space we can afford, we have to maximize the capacity of our little living space we call homes.
Use light colored materials on your home. Paint your walls white as much as possible. The color white creates an illusion of space. Good lighting is also one of the ways which you can make your space seem bigger. Again, white walls can absorb natural light so you will be able to
save electrical energy. White walls can also make your room brighter and seem more bigger.
Install mirrors on your bed space or living room. Big mirrors on your walls can give magic to the eye as it will make your room have more space than it really has.
Furnish your space with pieces of furniture that are elevated and don't have any closing underneath. Slightly elevated furniture will give you and your guests a feel of space. Also, invest on pieces of
furniture that have many different storage capabilities so you won't have to buy more furniture for other things.
Most importantly, do not clutter. Throw away the things you don't need. Home clutters will just take up space. What we want to do is to save space, not clutter it.
Remember, it's not how big the structure is, it's how you make it a home.
